Greentwo is a medicinal herbal salve. We have been making it since 2001. It was originally intended to be a fungicide, to treat things like athlete’s foot and other fungal conditions. Over time, as people have used it, we have heard accounts of many other things that it does in addition to acting as a fungicide.
- - Many people have said it is highly effective for burns, relieving pain and speeding healing.
- - It has gotten rid of infections (I recommend soaking infected cuts and slivers in witch hazel if possible also). It helps prevent infections in cuts and speeds healing.
- - It heals cracked fingers and heels, works much better when they are covered with a bandaid or sock.
- - People have said it heals severe cases of “jock itch” and athlete’s foot in a week and doesn’t hurt, like some medications do.
- - It has helped heal outbreaks of some of the unidentified chronic conditions some military friends have suffered from Viet Nam and Gulf War I.
- - We have used it to draw foxtails out of a dog’s paw, and to heal abrasions from barbed wire on a horse’s face. We used it to heal a spider bite on a dog’s paw after it had been lanced and drained by a vet.
- - My greyhound had a lump on his ear and Greentwo opened it up and it was gone in two weeks. The hair grew back and you can’t tell it was ever there. Greentwo occasionally breaks things opened, as it did in this case. I don’t know what the lump was, but I think it must have been an infection.
- - It did this on a lump we know was an infection from a cat bite on a friend’s cat. It doesn’t do this most of the time. We used it once on that cat right after he was attacked and none of the other bites got infected. We missed one.
- - Another friend used it on a hematoma on a dog’s ear and it disappeared.
- - Another person had a boxer with a terrible pencil sized scar on his ear that was bothering him a lot. He wouldn’t leave it alone, so it was always irritated and not healing. She said it broke up the scar and flattened it out and the dog quit hurting. I think this must have been a very recent scar.
- - Two people have told us it healed bedsores, one on a dog and one on a hospitalized person.
- - One person said it got rid of her psoriasis, and others have said it has helped their eczema significantly.
- - Twice we have been told it helps relieve the pain from shingles.
- - A diabetic friend said it is keeping the site of her insulin pump clear of infection and irritation, and helps her heal faster when she has injuries.

We recommend testing for allergic reactions before using Greentwo on anything that needs healing. We have heard of one possible allergic reaction, but it is not common. None of the ingredients are common allergens.
It is not a moisturizer.
Some pets love the taste of it, so it can be difficult to use on them in places where they can reach. Sometimes a bandage works and sometimes they will chew through it to get to the Greentwo and can hurt themselves. Also, a couple dogs we know have stolen the jar and eaten the whole thing. It didn’t hurt them, but all the Greentwo was gone. I don’t recommend eating it. Most pets are not that crazy about it, fortunately.
